VL4AI regularly considers applications for fully funded PhD positions from both domestic and international students whose interests align with our research in computer vision, robotics, embodied AI, multimodal reasoning, and neuro-symbolic AI.
What we look for
We are typically looking for applicants who have:
- a strong academic background in computer science, mathematics, engineering, robotics, or a closely related field;
- hands-on experience in at least one of the following areas: machine learning, computer vision, robotics, deep learning, or AI systems;
- evidence of research potential through projects, publications, theses, internships, or strong technical portfolios.
